Cervical Brush

The ALSHAMEL Cervical Brush is designed to collect cervical cell samples during gynecological examinations. It features a polyethylene (PE) brush head attached to a sturdy blue polypropylene (PP) handle, allowing the healthcare professional to hold and guide the brush with control. Supplied in a box of 100 pieces, it is intended for use by trained healthcare professionals.

1. Position the patient and gently insert a speculum to visualize the cervix.
2. Place the brush head against the cervix and collect the cell sample using the technique specified for this brush.
3. Withdraw the brush carefully and transfer the collected cells promptly to the appropriate collection vial or glass slide, following the laboratory’s protocol.
4. Label and submit the sample for analysis, then dispose of the brush according to the facility’s clinical waste procedures.
