Its traditional curved and angled Magill design facilitates access to the oral cavity and pharynx while minimizing obstruction of the healthcare professional’s field of view.

Made from durable, corrosion-resistant 410 surgical stainless steel, the forceps feature serrated jaws that provide a secure and precise grip on suitable tubes and instruments. They also feature a smooth mirror-polished finish for easier cleaning and maintenance, The ring handles provide comfortable and precise control during use. The forceps are designed for adult use. 

They are reusable and autoclavable in accordance with approved cleaning and sterilization procedures.

Intended Use

Instructions
  1. Inspect the forceps before use for rust, cracks, bending, loose joints, or damaged serrated tips.
  2. Clean and sterilize the instrument before clinical use according to the facility’s approved reprocessing procedures.
  3. Carefully insert the forceps while maintaining clear, direct visualization of the area.
  4. Gently grasp the catheter, tube, or visible object using the serrated tips.
  5. Apply the minimum pressure required to maintain a secure grip.
  6. Guide, reposition, or remove the item using slow and controlled movements.
  7. Open and withdraw the forceps carefully to avoid injury to surrounding tissues.
  8. After use, clean, disinfect, dry, inspect, and sterilize the instrument in an autoclave.
