1. Dissolve the required quantity of dehydrated medium in distilled water.
2. Heat with stirring until completely dissolved.
3. Sterilize by autoclaving according to laboratory protocol.
4. Cool to pouring temperature and pour into sterile Petri dishes.
5. Allow medium to solidify before inoculation.
