10 mL PRP tube

A sterile 10 mL PRP tube intended for blood collection and platelet-rich plasma preparation by qualified professionals. It contains acid citrate dextrose (ACD) solution, which acts as an anticoagulant, together with 1 mL of a biotin preparation and 1.4 g of separator gel used to separate blood components during centrifugation.

The tube features a transparent body and a blue cap. Each unit is individually packaged in a sealed aluminium foil pouch. It is intended for single use and must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for blood collection, preparation, and storage.

Intended for blood collection and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) preparation by qualified professionals, using compatible equipment and following the manufacturer’s instructions. The clinical use of the prepared plasma must follow the product’s approved intended purpose and the applicable medical protocol. Not intended for diagnostic laboratory testing.

1. Read the manufacturer’s instructions before use.
2. Open the packaging immediately before use and follow aseptic technique.
3. Collect the blood volume specified for this model. Do not assume that the nominal 10 mL capacity equals the required blood collection volume.
4. Gently invert the tube to mix the blood with the ACD solution, using the number of inversions specified by the manufacturer. Avoid vigorous shaking.
5. Use a compatible centrifuge and tube holders. Balance the tubes and set the centrifugal force and processing time according to the validated protocol for this product.
6. Collect the PRP fraction according to the manufacturer’s instructions and the applicable professional protocol.
7. Dispose of the tube after use in accordance with the facility’s medical waste procedures.
