Manual Differential Cell Counter – 8 Keys with Totalizer

The Manual Differential Cell Counter is a mechanical laboratory counting device designed to assist with differential cell counting procedures. It incorporates eight individual counting keys labelled BASO, EOSIN, MYELO, JUVEN, STAB, SEG, LYMPH and MONO, together with a TOTAL counter.

The unit is constructed with an ABS moulded body. Each counting key can register up to 999 counts. The totalizer automatically accumulates each incremental count, and an audible bell sounds when the total reaches 100. The counters can be reset to zero using the reset knobs before starting a new counting procedure.

• Designed for manual recording and totalization of differential cell counts in laboratory and hematology counting procedures using eight designated counting categories.

1. Place the counter on a stable, flat table or bench.
2. Reset all counter displays to ZERO (000) before each use.
3. Use only one counting key at a time.
4. Press the appropriate key according to the cell being counted.
5. The totalizer automatically adds every incremental count.
6. Continue counting until the required count is completed.
7. An audible bell will sound when the total count reaches 100.
8. Reset the displays after completing the counting procedure.
9. If the device has not been used for a long period, lubrication is recommended.
