Postoperative Intubation Bandage

The Postoperative Intubation Bandage provides comfortable support for the upper and lower abdominal areas during recovery. It features a flexible quilted construction and three adjustable fastening straps that help distribute pressure evenly. Dedicated access openings allow drainage tubes to be routed and accessed without compromising the bandage’s stability. The bandage is 24 cm high and features an adjustable width suitable for both men and women. It is non-sterile and reusable and should be worn according to the instructions of a physician or healthcare professional.

1. Remove the front and rear panels and lay them flat.
2. Connect the front panel to the rear panel using the designated fasteners.
3. Position the center of the rear panel against the back of the abdomen, keeping the wash label facing outward.
4. Wrap the bandage around the abdomen and secure both sides to achieve a comfortable fit.
5. Align the front opening with the catheter site.
6. Gently guide the catheter through the opening without bending or compressing it.
7. Ensure that the bandage is secure without causing pain or difficulty breathing.
8. Use the product according to the instructions of a physician or healthcare professional.

• Consult a physician or healthcare professional before use, particularly following surgery.
• Do not place the bandage directly over an open or infected wound.
• Do not overtighten the bandage, as this may restrict circulation or cause pain or numbness.
• Ensure that the catheter is not bent, obstructed, or compressed.
• Discontinue use and consult a physician if pain, swelling, numbness, skin discoloration, or irritation occurs.
• Select the appropriate size according to the size chart on the packaging.
• Inspect the bandage, fasteners, and stitching before use.
• Do not use if the nylon fasteners do not close securely or if more than 10% of the stitching has come undone.
• Do not use the product beyond the service life stated on the packaging.

• Hand-wash using cold water and a mild detergent.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air-dry naturally.
• Do not machine-wash or use bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
• Store in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated place.
• Keep away from moisture, oils, direct sunlight, and heat sources.
• Avoid excessive compression and contact with sharp objects during storage and transportation.
