1. Wrap the tourniquet around the upper arm.
2. Tighten until adequate venous compression is achieved.
3. Perform the blood collection or IV procedure.
4. Release immediately after the procedure using the quick-release buckle.
5. Clean according to your facility's infection control procedures before reuse.
