Advanced Thoracolumbar Support Brace

The thoracolumbosacral orthosis (TLSO) is designed to provide support and stabilization as part of a recovery or rehabilitation plan determined by a healthcare professional. Its construction combines a rigid outer shell, an anterior chest support, and shoulder and side straps to help maintain the brace’s position.

An integrated airbag can be inflated and deflated using a manual pump, allowing the fit around the lower back to be adjusted to the user’s needs and professional guidance. The brace features soft, perforated inner lining for ventilation, together with openings in the outer shell.

Three groups of hook-and-loop fastening straps on each side allow evenly adjustable closure. The adjustable universal-size design accommodates a range of body sizes, subject to confirmation of a suitable fit before use.

1. Intended to support and stabilize the thoracic, lumbar, and sacral regions of the spine when prescribed by a healthcare professional. It may be used within care plans following spinal surgery, for compression fractures, or for selected lumbar disc disorders and congenital spinal conditions, depending on clinical assessment and brace suitability.

1. Have the brace initially fitted by a healthcare professional, who should explain the appropriate body position for putting it on and removing it.
2. Wear a thin, close-fitting cotton T-shirt underneath the brace, avoiding gathered fabric or folds.
3. Position the brace so that its support sections align with the thoracic and lumbar regions, using the method demonstrated by your healthcare professional.
4. Adjust the shoulder and side fastening straps evenly, ensuring that the hook-and-loop closures are securely fastened.
5. Gradually inflate the airbag using the manual pump to the support level specified by your healthcare professional. Do not overinflate.
6. Check that the brace is stable, snug, and comfortable, without excessive pressure.
7. Follow the wearing schedule and duration prescribed by your healthcare professional.
8. Before removal, deflate the airbag using the method described in the product instructions, then release the straps and remove the brace as instructed.

8. Do not bend the shell, dismantle metal components, or attempt modifications or repairs yourself.
9. Avoid harsh cleaning agents and solvents. Do not use direct heat to dry the brace.
10. Follow your doctor’s restrictions on movement and lifting; wearing the brace does not permit unrestricted activity.

• Avoid placing heavy objects on the brace or bending the shell during storage.
