1. Select the appropriate tray type and size for the patient’s dental arch.
2. Inspect the tray to ensure it is clean and undamaged before use.
3. Prepare the impression material according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Distribute an appropriate amount of impression material evenly inside the tray.
5. Gently position the tray in the correct location without applying excessive force.
6. Allow the impression material to set for the specified time.
7. Carefully remove the tray and inspect the impression for completeness.
8. Follow the facility’s applicable cleaning or disposal protocols after use.
