Silicone Urine Connector

The ALSHAMEL® External Urine Collection System provides a practical way to collect urine for people with limited mobility or those who require bed rest. It consists of a silicone urine collector secured with a support garment, waistband, and straps, and connected to a urine collection bag through drainage tubing.

The male version features a circular opening, while the female version features an elongated oval opening and snap fasteners. When appropriately selected and fitted, the system helps reduce frequent trips to the toilet and supports daily patient care.

The package includes one urine collector in the selected version, a flexible support garment, two urine collection bags with a capacity of 2000 mL each, and a storage box.

2. Wash your hands before and after handling the product, and ensure that the skin contact area is clean and dry.
3. Position the collector correctly and secure it with the support garment, waistband, and straps without overtightening.
4. Securely connect the collector to the drainage tubing and collection bag according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Ensure that the bag’s drainage valve is closed before use.
6. Suspend the bag below bladder level, keep it off the floor, and ensure that the tubing is not kinked or compressed.
7. Monitor the fit and urine flow. Empty the bag through its drainage valve before it becomes full, then close the valve securely.
8. Follow the package instructions for component replacement and disposal. Do not reuse components labeled for single use.
