DOSIVENT Adult Valved Holding Chamber with Mask

The DosiVent® valved holding chamber with adult mask is a medical device used with metered-dose inhalers to support the effective inhalation of prescribed respiratory medications.

Its transparent anti-static chamber helps reduce medication retention within the chamber, while the one-way valve prevents exhaled air from entering it. The soft silicone mask provides comfortable facial contact and helps maintain a secure seal around the nose and mouth during use.

The universal adapter connects to most metered-dose inhalers. The device is lightweight, portable, and easy to disassemble and clean. This version is intended for adults aged 18 years and above. It is DEHP-free, CE-marked, and made in Spain.

1. Read the chamber and inhaler instructions, and inspect the device for damage before each use.
2. Remove the inhaler cap and shake the inhaler according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Insert the inhaler mouthpiece into the adapter at the rear of the chamber.
4. Place the mask over the nose and mouth, ensuring a secure seal between the mask and the face.
5. Breathe out gently, then press the inhaler once at the start of a slow inward breath.
6. Keep the mask sealed against the face and take 5–6 breaths through it after releasing the dose.
7. If the device whistles, slow down your inhalation.
8. If another dose is prescribed, wait for the interval specified in the inhaler instructions, then repeat the steps. Release only one puff at a time.
9. After use, remove the inhaler and replace its cap. Clean the chamber weekly according to the supplied cleaning instructions.
