DosiVent Valved Holding Chamber Without Mask for Adults

The DosiVent® Adult Valved Holding Chamber without mask is a spacer with a valve, designed for use with compatible pressurized metered-dose inhalers to help patients inhale medications prescribed for respiratory conditions.

It features a transparent anti-static chamber and a one-way valve that helps prevent exhaled air from entering the chamber. Its lightweight, compact design makes it convenient to carry and use daily.

This version is intended for adults aged 18 years and above and is used through a mouthpiece without a mask. The product is DEHP-free, made in Spain, and CE-marked as a medical device. For single-patient use.

1. Intended to help adults aged 18 years and above inhale prescribed medications using compatible pressurized metered-dose inhalers, as part of treatment for respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), following medical advice.

1. Read the chamber and inhaler instructions, and inspect the chamber for damage.
2. Remove the inhaler and chamber mouthpiece caps. Shake the inhaler as instructed.
3. Insert the inhaler mouthpiece into the chamber’s rear adapter.
4. Breathe out gently, away from the mouthpiece.
5. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips firmly around it.
6. Release one puff as you begin breathing in slowly and deeply through your mouth.
7. Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds, if able, then breathe out gently.
8. If another puff is prescribed, repeat the steps using the interval specified in the inhaler instructions.
9. After use, remove the inhaler and replace the mouthpiece cap. Clean the chamber regularly according to the supplied leaflet.
