Each slide has standard dimensions of 25.4 × 76.2 mm and a thickness of 1.0–1.2 mm, making it suitable for routine laboratory, diagnostic, and educational applications. Each box contains 50 glass slides.

1. Carefully remove one slide from the box.
2. Ensure that the slide is clean and undamaged before use.
3. Hold the slide by its edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the surface.
4. Place the specimen in the center of the slide using an appropriate tool.
5. Add a cover glass over the specimen when required.
6. Position the slide correctly on the microscope stage.
7. Adjust the microscope and examine the specimen according to approved laboratory procedures.
8. Clean or dispose of the slide after use according to the specimen type and facility procedures.
