Transport Dry Swab Applicator (Sterile)

JOYCARE Transport Swab Applicators are sterile, ready-to-use devices intended for collecting clinical specimens and transporting them to the laboratory for microbiological testing.

Each unit consists of a swab with a white absorbent tip and a durable shaft, housed in a transparent tube with a red cap. The tube contains the swab, while the printed label provides space to record specimen information using the available fields.

The product is intended for single use by trained personnel in hospitals, laboratories, and diagnostic centres, following the manufacturer’s instructions and laboratory procedures. The tube size stated on the packaging is 13 × 150 mm, and each pack contains 100 pieces.

1. Open the packaging carefully and remove the swab without touching the tip or allowing it to contact any surface unrelated to specimen collection.
2. Collect the specimen from the required site according to the approved procedure and laboratory instructions.
3. Return the swab to its original tube and secure the cap.
4. Record the specimen information in the available label fields, as required by the laboratory.
5. Transfer the specimen to the laboratory under the transport conditions and within the timeframe specified for the requested test.
